Brazilian vs Hollywood Wax for Men: What’s the Difference?

What is a men’s Brazilian wax?

A men’s Brazilian wax, sometimes called a Boyzilian, removes hair from the penis, scrotum and between the buttocks. Hair on the pubic mound can be left as a small strip or triangle, or removed depending on your preference, and the buttock cheeks can be waxed too if you’d like.

It’s popular with men who want a well-groomed intimate area while keeping a small amount of natural hair at the front.

What is a men’s Hollywood wax?

A men’s Hollywood wax removes all hair from the entire intimate area, including the pubic mound, penis, scrotum, buttock crack and buttock cheeks. The result is a completely hair-free finish across both the front and back.

It’s the most thorough form of male intimate waxing and is often chosen by men who prefer a fully groomed look.

Which one should I choose?

• Choose a Brazilian if you’d like to choose what stays — keep a strip or triangle at the front, and decide whether to include the buttock cheeks.
• Choose a Hollywood if you want everything removed for a completely smooth finish.
• Only want the front done? A groin wax treats the penis and scrotum only, with no hair removed from the buttocks.
